i've spent thousands of hours in the last 10 years reading & researching fine dining-style meals & recipes. the hobby was actually a form of escapism that i used as a distraction to get away from issues including childhood traumas & mental health in the past

now that arc is over & my self-love arc is beginning, i've turned the skills & knowledge i've gained into something positive 😊

it’s not much right now, but it’s a small step in the right direction, & maybe one day we can collectively make a much bigger positive impact together

you'll notice more projects relating to animal welfare & mental health as those two things have helped me the most ☺️

money that i will put towards charity will most likely go to small charitable organisations both locally & (probably more) overseas:

• the position i hold within healthcare in new zealand helps lessen inequities with māori & pacific patients, children (starship children's hospital), & many other patients that need to travel to my department for advanced care & imaging
• the charities i used to volunteer for have been related to animal welfare & food
• there are many small-time volunteers around the world that i think could do with a small helping hand 😊
