This is my beautiful batch of da hong pao (big red robe) tea powder from Wuyi Mountain, Fujian, China
This is my imperial grade da hong pao tea powder that I recommend this to make an incredible milk tea or latte or used in your fine dining-style desserts
It has a slightly more bitter aftertaste compared to my other tea powders as there needed to be a big compromise between 1) the da hong pao cultivars, 2) the da hong pao cultivar quality, and 3) cost
- Cultivars: Proprietary Wuyi rock tea blend (Da Hong Pao blend, Rou Gui & Shui Xian cultivars)

Harvest: Spring harvest only (2025)
- Grind: Japanese stone-milled (~15-20 microns)
- Altitude: 100-300 m

- Notes: malt, floral, caramel, toasted bread, stonefruit, mineral
This is definitely New Zealand first and almost certainly firsts in most countries around the world. I can't tell you how much work went into this

Storage
squeeze out air from the zip lock bag, reseal, and refrigerate. it will last many, many months that way
do not store powdered tea at room temperature for extended periods
