Our beautiful first batch of award-winning single cultivar tsuyuhikari matcha from Shizuoka, Japan. This particular batch may have me a bit more course in texture than usual, however, this does not affect the flavour of the matcha. If this is an issue, I suggest choosing a different batch of matcha.

This was from the last of the 1st harvest in 2024, processed on 9 July 2025 and arrived in New Zealand on 11 July 2025.

This is our signature grade matcha that we recommend to make an usucha or a fantastic matcha latte.

Nitrogen-gas flushed for guaranteed freshness for at least a year from processing date if kept unopened and refrigerated.

Notes: fresh, sweet, green peas, umami

  • 3-4 g matcha 
  • 30-40 mL water
  • 8-10 g white/brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 100-120 mL dairy or plant-based milk
