Our beautiful first batch of award-winning yabukita blend hojicha from Shizuoka, Japan

This was from the last of the 1st & 2nd harvests in 2024, processed on 9 July 2025 and arrived in New Zealand on 11 July 2025.

This is our signature grade hojicha that we recommend to make an usucha-style hojicha or an incredible hojicha latte.

Nitrogen-gas flushed for guaranteed freshness for at least a year from processing date if kept unopened and refrigerated.

Notes: floral, honey, roasted nuts, umami

  • 30-40 mL water
  • 6-8 g white/brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 100-120 mL dairy or plant-based milk
