Our beautiful award-winning lightly roasted yabukita blend hojicha from Shizuoka, Japan
This is our imperial grade hojicha that we recommend to make an usucha-style hojicha or an incredible hojicha latte. Not gritty like other brands 😏
Strongly reminiscent of floral honey flavours similar to Mi Lan Xiang and Oriental Beauty teas, especially when a bit of sweetener is added
- Cultivars: Yabukita-dominant blend with other proprietary cultivars
- Harvest: First harvest only (Spring 2025)
- Grind: Ball-milled (~15-20 microns)
- Altitude: 200-500 m
- Origin: Shizuoka, Japan
- Notes: floral, honey, roasted nuts, umami

Storage
squeeze out air from the zip lock bag, reseal, and refrigerate. it will last many, many months that way
do not store powdered tea at room temperature for extended periods
